Tarpaulin Sky!

I'm incredibly delighted to be named a finalist for this year's Tarpaulin Sky Book Prize, judged by Bhanu Kapil. While this doesn't mean they'll be publishing my book, it does mean that I'm in some incredible company--head on over to their website to see for yourself.

And! If you know of agents or small presses looking for experimental nonfiction, drop me a line. Lyrebird has now received accolades from both Black Warrior Review and Tarpaulin Sky, and is still in search of a publisher who will bring this book into the world.

A Quick Fragment

As I begin the search for an agent to represent Lyrebird, I'm honored to have a new fragment of the book up at the wonderful Seattle Review of Books--part of their ongoing Tuesday poetry series. Here's a direct link, though it's definitely worth spending some time to check out the rest of SRB's rich and diverse content!
