As I begin the search for a publisher to bring Lyrebird into the world, I'm honored to have a new fragment of the book up at the wonderful Seattle Review of Books--part of their ongoing Tuesday poetry series. Here's a direct link, though it's definitely worth spending some time to check out the rest of SRB's rich and diverse content!
I just received word from the people at Black Warrior Review that issue 40.2 is sold out! The good news is that all the prizewinning work from this year's contest (poetry, fiction, and non-fiction) has been made available online.
So if you haven't yet had a chance to read my contest-winning essay, Lyrebird, you can read it right here. Not as good as having a paper copy in your hot little hands, but still wonderful (and free!) Read it for the first time, read it again, send a link to friends!
