Meredith Clark

Poet & Writer

Meredith Clark is a poet and writer whose work has received Black Warrior Review's nonfiction prize and been named a finalist for the 2019 Essay Press book award, the 2017 Tarpaulin Sky Book Prize, and the 2017 Noemi Press Book Award. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in the Dusie Kollektiv, Phoebe, Gigantic Sequins, Berkeley Poetry Review, and Poetry Northwest, and she is the recipient of a 2014 Washington State Book Award for her professional writing. She holds an MFA in writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a B.A. in creative writing from Oberlin College, and is the recipient of grants and residencies from Artist Trust, Art Farm Nebraska, and the Vermont Studio Center.
